Check the nut-and-bolt connections
The SG12180FP uses bolted connections. Compare your existing battery’s terminal shape, terminal position, and cable attachment with the product photos.
If your current battery uses push-on F1 or F2 blade connectors, confirm the connection requirements before choosing this model. Batteries with the same voltage and capacity can have different terminals and may not connect directly to the same wiring.
Will this 12V 18Ah battery fit your equipment?
Measure the available battery space and compare it with the listed 7.13-inch length, 3.01-inch width, and 6.57-inch height. Allow sufficient clearance for the cable connections and any retaining bracket or enclosure.
Before ordering, confirm:
-
Your equipment requires a 12V AGM sealed lead-acid battery.
-
The 18Ah capacity meets the equipment manufacturer’s requirements.
-
The case fits the battery compartment and mounting arrangement.
-
Terminal position and polarity match the existing wiring.
-
The charger is suitable for the specified battery.
Use the equipment documentation and existing battery label together when checking compatibility.
Does an 18Ah rating determine runtime?
Runtime depends on the equipment’s power demand, operating conditions, and battery condition. The 18Ah rating helps identify the battery’s capacity, but it does not establish a fixed runtime for every application.
For equipment using multiple batteries, also confirm the required quantity and battery configuration before ordering.
